Lars Danielsson is head of authority for Sweden’s permanent representation at the European Union. He is Sweden’s so-called permanent representative and leads the work together with his colleagues Torbjörn Haak and Mikael Lindvall.
The member countries’ ambassadors are preparing upcoming meetings of the Council of Ministers in Coreper I and II. As a permanent representative, Lars Danielsson participates in Coreper II, where he meets his EU colleagues every week. In Coreper II, the ambassadors prepare four ministerial councils: Economic and Financial Affairs, Foreign Policy, General Affairs and the Council for Justice and Home Affairs. In Coreper II, issues related to the UK’s exit from the EU are also being prepared.
