Lantic Bay, National Trust
Lantic bay is a stunning location and imo easily one of the best beaches in mid cornwall. On a sunny day the water is a beautiful turquoise colour near the shore. The beach is a decent size and well sheltered and does not get too busy as it is relatively unknown to outsiders. Large shingly beach on a beautiful bay, great spot for paddling and picnicking, well worth the climb back up. Walkers of these wonderful trails will be rewarded with some stunning views across a truly spectacular landscape, with plenty of local history and heritage to discover along the way. Enjoy this short walk around Pencarrow Head and Lantic Bay, taking in rocky outcrops, views over the bay, open farmland some leg stretching climbing.
