Langedrag Nature Park, Tunhovd, Buskerud, Norway

In particular scenic surroundings situated Langedrag houses as a fairy-tale castle, 1000m overlooking the lakes and mountains between Hallingdal and Numedal. The construction of the farm started in 1978. Together with his family wanted Eva and Edvin K. Thorson to realize his dream of a farm where visitors can get unique experiences with closeness to animals and nature.

Edvin is also the entrepreneur behind EKT health neck and EKT Riding school at Ekeberg in Oslo. Both health and jersey Langedrag is built on the philosophy that: “Nature is our best teacher.”

In the yard, visitors can experience close contact and interacting with our many pets. In the park you can see at close range wild animals, such as wolves, lynx, fox, wild boar, elk and reindeer. “Respect for life” means a lot to us.

Langedrag is a nature park with around 300 animals spread over 20 different species. The place is a mountain farm with its own dairy and goat production and camp that can accommodate over 80 students each week. We accept guests for day visits, baptisms, confirmations, weddings and other companies. In summer we arrange riding camps, family camps, seats days and many other activities. On the weekends stays at Langedrag and take part in life on the farm with us!
