Lake Tuzkol, Kyrgyzstan
Lake Tuz-Kol or Dead Lake is located on the southern coast of Lake Issyk-Kul 70 km away from Balykchi. 1 km long and half of that wide, it is believed to have unique type of mud, which is healthy. With no flows out the lake has very high level of mineralization, thanks to which it’s got its name.
