Armand Viré, solitary, man of the silence of buried work, convict of the earth, spent more years underground than in full light, more than 60 years after his death it is always so, may this testimony make him a modest tribute. Armand Viré man of silence and darkness yet more than 7 million people are grateful for the wonders he has discovered.
The caves of Lacave are the fruit of chance, Viré dug to join the cave of Saint Sol, for fifteen months his team dug for 15 months the fate played with them and this 28 April 1905 the cave was offered to them, but what cave ? The cave of Saint Sol? No !! The caves of Lacave inviolate sanctuary were unveiled to the first explorers, since more than 7 million people have visited this place of the past times.
