La promenade du front de mer, Argelès-sur-Mer, Languedoc-Roussillon, France

Of all the coastal towns in the Pyrénées-Orientales, Argelès-sur-Mer has the longest coastline: nearly 10 kilometers of coastline, 7 of which are sandy and 2 are cove. The highlight of this seaside is the walk parallel to the beach.

Built in the 1980s, 1.6 km long, planted with lawns and Mediterranean vegetation, it stretches from Port Argelès to the pine forest, home to several thousand trees.

On foot, by bike, rollerblading, walking or running, the walk is, winter and summer, the privileged place of a pleasant walk by the sea.
