La Maison Henri Ii, La Rochelle, Poitou-Charentes, France

Built in the 16th century, the Henri II house was built by an unknown architect for Hugues Pontard, father of the mayor of the city François Pontard. Designed in an antique style with columns and pediments, the Henry II house has the particularity that it is not a house. Indeed, with its galleries, it is actually a narrow corridor that ensures traffic between the home and the office.
