La Cascade des Tufs, Les Planches-prés-Arbois, Franche-Comte, France

In a remote landscape where water infiltrates a plateau, digs a cave and resurfaces cascading, the cascade of tuffs offers a breathtaking spectacle.

This waterfall is fed by the Cuisance, which takes its source in the heart of the remote Planches and resurfaces by numerous cavities, dug in the tuff, a limestone rock of sedimentary origin. From there comes its name of cascade Tufs. These multiple trips cause several waterfalls that fall in the basins of Dar and thus offer an extraordinary natural spectacle.

This site is very accessible and is particularly suitable for families. After taking a hiking trail and a footbridge, you can admire the different pools.

Lovers of beautiful photos, do not forget your camera: here, the surrounding nature is splendid.
