Kumburnu Beach, Fethiye, Muğla, Turkey
Located in Oludeniz, Fethiye and also known as the “Blue Lagoon” this is one of the most beautiful, picturesque and photographed beaches in the world, and is also Fethiye’s most popular. The beach has been awarded a Blue Flag certificate and the entrance is via Kumburnu National Park which actually separates the beaches of Oludeniz and Belcekiz.
There is a fee payable on entry, the water is shallow and perfect for families with children, and it becomes extremely busy on summer weekends and during public holidays; there are restaurants and bars available for food and drinks, it has water sports facilities, ramps for the disabled and there is also a lifeguard on duty.
