Zoo is located in Wolski Forest – a beautiful forest park, unique in large urban areas. A favorite vacation spot of inhabitants of Cracow with numerous marked walking trails. Many of them run near the Zoologischer Garten, which is often the goal of hiking. The Wolski Forest marked bike trails and educational path. It is a place where there are several historic buildings including Mound of Independence them. Jozef Pilsudski and the monastery and hermitage OO Camaldolese.
