The museum was formerly known as the “Taiwan Historical Archives.” During the Japanese occupation period, Showa seven years (1932) was established in the Anping Fortress. It is a museum established in Taiwan early. It was later relocated and rebuilt as the “Tainan City History Museum.” In the 34th year of the Republic of China (1945), it was relocated to Chihkan Building for re-planning. In the 53 years of the Republic of China (1963), all walks of life rebuilt the King Ping of Yanping County to commemorate the national hero Zheng Chenggong; and to build a new hall to accommodate the increasing collections, which was relocated to its present location and renamed as “National Museum of Tainan” “.”
Since then, precious cultural relics and historical materials have been accompanied by famous winners and sages.
In the Republic of China, it was reorganized and reorganized in 1992, and it was officially renamed “Zheng Cheng Museum of Success.” The purpose of this museum is to: Recognize the importance of Zheng Chenggong in cultural assets in Taiwan, and publicize the value of cultural assets in Tainan, and understand the appearance of Taiwanese culture in the collection.
