Kornmarkt, Luzern, Switzerland

The Kornmarkt dates to 1356, and as the name suggests, it was the city grain market place until the 19th century. Grain was stored in the ground floor of the Town Hall, from 1438. The upper parts of the building were used as a Town Hall from 1447 onwards.
