Khor Ambado Beach, Djibouti
One of the best relaxation spots where you can enjoy a variety of water activities such as snorkeling, swimming, etc. Khor Ambado is nicknamed the French beach, because French militaries based in the city used to take their families there. To access the beach, you’ll need a 4WD because the road is really bad and you don’t want to get stuck in the sand.
Although a lot of foreigners converge at this beach, still note that Djibouti is predominantly Muslim and care should be taken when it comes to exposure, especially women.
