Kemerovo Oblast Drama Theatre, Kemerovo, Kemerovskaya oblast, Russia
The drama theater began its countdown from 1934, when on November 1 the first theatrical season of the Kemerovo Theater opened with the play “The Death of the Squadron” based on Korneichuk’s play. The performance was staged by the first head of the theater, Honored Artist of the Republic Alexei Larionov. The first ten years of the theater’s existence on its posters were the names and titles of contemporary plays for that period of time: N. Ostrovsky “How the Steel Was Tempered”, D. Furmanov “Chapaev”, K. Trenev “Love Yarova” and others.
