Kaviar Factory Art Gallery, Henningsvær, Nordland, Norway
The KaviarFactory is an international venue for contemporary art. Located in Henningsvær, in the middle of the archipelago of Lofoten, Norway, it takes advantage of its off-the-grid location and aims to offer experiences and confrontations that never previously have been available to such regions.
Ms. Venke Hoff’s vision is to share her love of art with others. She wishes to give both local residents and visitors the possibility of viewing high quality contemporary art. She and her husband, Mr. Rolf Hoff, have throughout 30 years assembled a large collection of Norwegian and international contemporary art. They could be described as «con amore collectors». Their emphasis has been on supporting young artists. Works from their collection are regularly lent to institutions and exhibitions both in Norway and abroad. The most important capital of the KaviarFactory is the extensive international network of Venke and Rolf.
