Kanash Museum of Local Lore, Kanash, Kanash, Chuvashia, Russia 

Over the years, the Kanash Museum of Local History has become a kind of center of the city, skilfully combining scientific and exhibition and educational and educational functions.

The museum is visited by both adults and children. Meetings are held with the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the workers of the rear, honorary citizens of the city, lessons of courage and many others. There are exhibitions of paintings by local artists, as well as artists of Chuvashia, creative exhibitions of masters of arts and crafts, meetings with gifted and enthusiastic people.

In the reporting year, the museum continued its cooperation with the education system: work within the museum-pedagogical program “Museum. Teacher. Apprentice.”

On the basis of the Kanashsky Museum of Local History, the Guild of Craftsmen has been working for the Chamber of Commerce of the Chuvash Republic of the Kanash branch for a number of years. It unites masters of arts and crafts of the city and the district. Members of the guild and master DPI often conduct master classes with students in the schools of the city and district.
