Jiupeng Desert, Pingtung County, Taiwán
Jiupeng Desert is a long sandy beach in Pingtung, Manzhou Township. It’s home to the largest sand dunes in Taiwan, some of which are more than 30 meters tall. The beach best known as an ATV playground, but it’s also a really nice place to swim and camp. The beach is covered in soft white sand, and there are two freshwater streams that flow into the ocean on it, one at each end of the beach. The beach is accessible from both ends to foot traffic, and 4WD vehicles can drive in from the north entrance.
