Itamaraty Palace, Brasilia, State of Goiás, Brazil

Designed by Oscar Niemeyer and inaugurated in 1970, the Itamaraty Palace is the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the design of the project, it was up to Ambassador Wladimir Murtinho to convey to the architect the needs that needed to be met, the partnership so successful that, to date, it was not necessary to make any structural changes in the building.

The structural calculation, which allowed the realization of impressive free-span, was carried out by engineer Joaquim Cardoso.
