Island of Ortigia, Ortigia, Italy
The beautiful and scenic island of Ortygia is the historical centre of the city of Syracuse, Sicily. The island, also known as Città Vecchia, contains many historical landmarks. The name originates from the Ancient Greek ortyx, which means “Quail”. A beautiful location to admire, enjoy and take it all in.
