Interzip – Zip Line

Interzip Rogers is the world’s first interprovincial zipline, offering an exciting ride that crosses the Ottawa River, connecting Ottawa, Ontario, to Gatineau, Quebec. Riders soar 120 feet above the water at speeds up to 40 km/h, enjoying stunning views of landmarks like Parliament Hill and Chaudière Falls.

The experience starts at the Zibi site in Gatineau, where you check in before walking about five minutes to the launch tower on Chaudière Island in Ottawa. The zipline stretches 366 meters (about 1,200 feet), and you can ride solo or side-by-side with a friend. The ride lasts around 35 to 40 seconds. Before taking off, participants receive a thorough safety briefing and must climb 120 steps to reach the launch platform, as there’s no elevator.

Tickets cost around $25 for adults and $20 for children under 15, with a minimum weight of 70 lbs and maximum of 275 lbs to participate. Reservations are recommended, and the zipline typically operates daily from June to October, between 10 AM and 4 PM. While in the area, you can also explore nearby attractions such as the Canadian War Museum, Canadian Museum of History, Parliament Hill, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Byward Market.

For safety, closed-toe shoes are required, and the experience isn’t wheelchair accessible or recommended for pregnant individuals. Video souvenirs of your ride are available for purchase to capture your thrilling adventure.
