Iglesia Concatedral de Santa María, Cáceres, Spain
The Co-Cathedral of Caceres is the Roman Catholic cathedral in the town of Caceres, region of Extremadura, Spain. Construction Began in the 15th century in a Gothic style. The main portal was built in Romanesque style. It is the most important church in the city. It was granted the status of co-cathedral in 1957, sharing bishopric with the Cathedral of Coria. It was built between the XV to XVI on a previous work. The covers are still Gothic models and the Gospel stands a pillar with bracket holding the Virgin.
