Huanglong Ropeway, Sichuan Sheng, China
Located in Songpan County of Sichuan province, Huanglong National Park is the only one plateau wetland that is well-preserved in China. Different from Jiuzhaigou Valley which is100km away, Huanglong Park is famous for its four kinds of stunning beauty, that’s multicolored ponds, snow-capped mountains, breathtaking canyons and boundless forests. Facing the origin of Fu River, the main scenic spot Huanglonggou Valley, a dragon-shaped spot under the main peak of Min Mountain, just like a majestic dragon to Chinese’s mind, which is the origin of its name.
Due to the annual maintenance work, the cable car in Huanglong National Park was unavailable until 31st March this year. It will take you 25 minutes to queue up waiting for the cable car in low season, while nearly one hour in peak season. The cableway is bidirectional, and 80 RMB for going up and 40 RMB for down. It is close to the mountain, which won’t terrify vertigo sufferers. Eight persons could be taken at once and arrive in 2 minutes.
