House-museum of Edmond Rostand, Cambo-les-Bains, Aquitaine, France
Cambo, known for it’s hot springs, lies just outside of the town center of Arnaga. The town was the residence of Edmond Rostand (1806-1918), author of Cyrano de Bergerac. His house is open to the public and holds the museum of Edmond Rostand. Strolling through the gardens, is a luxury. In a way it’s a “French garden” with its ponds and fountains and in another, it’s a “cottage garden”. Here they hold a summer theater festival. You can wander the grounds without paying entrance.
