Hotel Fontfreyde photographic center, Clermont-Ferrand, France
Listed as a historic monument in 1912, the Fontfreyde Hotel now houses a photographic center
Its programming, consisting of four exhibitions a year, focuses on contemporary photography and questions the different status of the image, with a place for historical photography. In addition to distributing photographic works, the Fontfreyde Hotel – Photographic Center contributes to the production of works in the context of creative residencies. He participates in the promotion of artists and their works through the publishing of books. It raises public awareness of photography through mediation and a documentation center.
