Welcome to the true essence of Rome. Laidback yet lively, pulsing with the modern spirit of the city. A home from home, where your stories fuse with ours. Italian-inspired sophistication with a touch of cool grace awaits you at Hotel Eden. Our legendary rooftop, restaurants and bar are not to be missed.
Long considered Rome’s premier luxury hotel, the iconic Eden doesn’t rest on its laurels. Instead, a tip-to-tail revamp brought the décor and amenities into the 21st century with chic interiors that echo the hotel’s historic roots, a Michelin-starred rooftop restaurant and a state-of-the-art spa
Hotel Eden is perched above the pedigreed Ludovisi quarter with wraparound views of the Eternal City, ringed by private gardens that serve as a buffer from the relentless bustle while still offering easy access to the Spanish Steps and tony boutiques and restaurants surrounding Piazza di Spagna. A-list sights like the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Villa Borghese are all within a 20-minute stroll through the city’s historic centre – as is the legendary Via Veneto, symbol of Rome’s “la dolce vita” heyday.
Opulent without being overstated, the interiors are a study in refined restraint with just enough marble and gilding to cement its international five-star cachet. French architects Bruno Moinard and Claire Bétaille, who spearheaded the hotel’s recent renovation, were careful to reference Rome in the details, with flourishes like carpeting inspired by ancient Roman mosaics, Grotesque-style frescoes and framed contemporary watercolours depicting Roman sights and scenes scattered throughout the hotel.
In the elegantly panelled La Libreria on the ground floor, guests can relax with cocktails mixed and served sofa-side from the drinks trolley against the background of live piano music; the contemporary rooftop bar and restaurants are a stylish spot for watching the sunset over the St. Peter’s dome.
