From the majestic tumbling gardens which sweep down from neighbouring Villa Borghese, to the quiet omnipresence of resident feline, mousers, Mona and Lisa, every facet of the Hotel de Russie is a masterclass in Italian elegance and expertise
Situated beside buzzing Piazza del Popolo – on which three of Rome’s main thoroughfares converge – and no more than a short walk from multiple big-ticket attractions (five minutes to the banks of the Tiber, eight to the Spanish Steps, 11 to Villa Medici, 15 to the Trevi Fountain), you’ll be hard-pressed to beat Hotel de Russie on location. As an added bonus, you’re only four minutes on foot from the closest metro station, Flaminio, and well connected to the rest of the city.
