Hotel Copernicus

Hotel Copernicus stands on Kanonicza Street, Krakow’s oldest street that winds its way toward Wawel Royal Castle – the historic seat of Polish kings. Amidst the neighbouring Renaissance townhouses Copernicus stands out with its expansive, Gothic façade.

As the first hotel in Poland has been a member of the exclusive association of Relais & Châteaux. The celebrities who dined in the Copernicus Restaurant include distinguished artists such as Polish Nobel Prize-winning poets – Czesław Miłosz and Wisława Szymborska, as well as film stars and politicians, including the Oscar-winning movie director Andrzej Wajda, Roman Polański, Morgan Freeman, Vaclav Havel and Helmut Kohl.

Our renaissance inspired restaurant is based on polish royal cuisine. Copernicus stands for traditional recipes interpreted in an innovative manner by our talented Chef – Krzysztof Waś.
