Horomitoge Lavender Garden, Hokkaidō, Japan

The Horomitoge Lavender Garden has been developed since 1987. The garden began with 120 lavenders and there are 5000 lavenders today.

The Lavender Garden is one of the rare gems of Sapporo with its excellent view and the extensive stretches of lavender. After a long day of walking through the purple colored flowers, you can buy the lavender essential oils for a reasonable price in the Yume Koubou Satou.

The lavender garden is only open during the mid of July to the early of August, about 20 ~ 25 days. The garden will close for the rest of the day while the car park observatory is only close during winter.
