The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Annunciation, popularly known as the Metropolis or Mitropoli, is the cathedral church of the Archbishopric of Athens and all of Greece. Construction began in 1842 and is the cathedral of Athens and all of Greece. At that time, it only took 20 years to build. Now look at this church. The architectural style follows the “Greco-Byzantine”, which well reflects the perfect integration of the traditional Byzantine style of the church and European classical elements, which is very beautiful.
