Hogarth’s House

Former country home and museum exploring the life and work of the painter, engraver and cartoonist. Hogarth’s House was built between 1713 and 1717 and from 1749 until his death was the country home of the great painter, engraver and satirist William Hogarth (1697 – 1764). Today you can see the home he lived in, a large collection of his work and learn about the history of the House, its residents and the area.
