Historical Museum, Oslo, Norway
The Historical Museum is located in one of Oslo’s most beautiful jugend buildings, and shows permanent and changing exhibitions on four floors.
The ground floor is home to large collections from the Middle Ages, gold and silver treasures, and the interdisciplinary exhibition Collapse.
The ethnographic exhibitions on the second and fourth floors exhibit Egyptian mummies and Antique art, as well as items from Arctic expeditions and African, American and East Asian cultures.
