Highgate Golf Club

Established in 1904, Highgate is a superb, mature golf course only 40 minutes from Charing Cross, Bank and Green Park Stations, where we put the interests and enjoyment of our members at the forefront of everything we do. From the White tees, the course measures 6,033 yards (par 69, SSS 70) with Red tee course at 5,498 (par72, SSS 72). The current amateur course record of 66 was first scored in 1984 and whilst equalled on a number of occasions still remains the toughest record to beat. No tee times (except for big competitions), a great bunch of members and a clubhouse with as good a view as any in London, could there be a better place to spend a few hours?

The closest 18 hole course to central London, the award-winning Highgate Golf Club set in peaceful surroundings is a great option for golfers. It’s private, for members only, and its main event, The Highgate Open, takes place every summer

One of the many joys of golf at Highgate, is that we have tee times only for our bigger competitions. For the most part, you play your golf when you are ready, and it’s rare that you have to wait on the tee. However, to ensure that those playing 2 ball golf are not held up by 3 and 4 balls, we ask players to abide by the starting times, below, and to maintain a reasonable pace of play. For two ball golf, this should be about 3 hours 15 minutes. For three and four balls, about 3 hours 30 minutes.
