Heywood House Hotel

This intimate room-only hotel is set in an 18th-century former bank in the heart of one of Liverpool’s liveliest areas, a five-minute walk from the UNESCO-listed Waterfront. Staff provide an extremely warm welcome and go out of their way to help guest with local information and restaurant suggestions

In a one-time bank built in 1799, the hotel has retained some of its original features, including an impressive central staircase and ceiling beams in some of the guest rooms. The décor is in line with the heritage, with a cosy reception area, modern but low-key wallpaper embellishing the staircase, and individually decorated rooms with a classic feel

Surrounded by many of the city’s most exciting restaurants and bars, Heywood House Hotel is also less than five minutes’ stroll from the Liverpool ONE shopping district and about 10 minutes on foot from Liverpool Lime Street mainline train station.

Guests might expect some degree of noise as the area is lively and the historic nature of the building precludes full soundproofing.
