Harvard Film Archive

Renowned film archive at the Carpenter Center with a theater screening classic & avant-garde movies. The hfa frequently invites filmmakers to discuss their work and engage with the vibrant community of students, professors, artists and cinephiles who regularly attend archive screenings. Recent visitors include legendary independent filmmakers wim wenders, agnès varda, terence davies, guy maddin, billy woodberry and frederick wiseman.

Excellent venue for eclectic films. Visiting film makers often open films. Become a member and get on the guest-list for showings that may sell out and reduced admission. Located in Harvard Square where parking can be hard to come by. 10 minute walk from Harvard station.
