Our story began on October 10, 2010, in a small garage in Ottawa, driven by a passion for traditional gourmet methods of roasting and brewing coffee. This love for quality and craftsmanship was first shared with local coffee lovers in Ottawa by roasting and selling specialty coffee on demand.
Under the vision and leadership of our present-day owner, Henry Assad, this passion grew into Happy Goat Coffee Co. — a proud Canadian coffee brand dedicated to excellence. Today, Happy Goat has expanded to over 14 café locations, with our beans served in more than 100 establishments across Ottawa.
