Happoen Garden, Shirokanedai, Japan 

Happo-en is a hidden garden in the vicinity of Minato-ku, Tokyo. It was built in the early 17th century (Edo Period) and was reconstructed by Fusanosuke Kuhara in 1915. Revealed by its name, Happō-en is a garden with beautiful views. This garden is a home of Bonsai, Mapple, and Cherry trees. Most Bonsai trees in this garden are over 100 years old and one of the oldest is 520 years old, a real historical feeling awaits you there. It is a perfect place for some self-reflecting and is suitable for loosening up. Along with the calm pond, you can enjoy a traditional tea ceremony with the help of women dressed in Kimonos.

Today, the garden is being used as a background of Japanese traditional weddings, feasts, and other such occasions. It is also a place where many photographers stick around because of the beautiful scenery and ambiance. This garden is a perfect example of maintained natural beauty. The richness of this garden will leave you astonished, you might even forget that you’re in Tokyo!
