The Rampa de Voo Livre da Pedra Bonita, managed by the Clube São Conrado de Voo Livre (CSCVL), is one of Brazil’s most iconic hang gliding and paragliding sites, located within the Tijuca National Park at an elevation of approximately 517 meters above sea level. Situated between the neighborhoods of São Conrado and Barra da Tijuca, Pedra Bonita offers panoramic views that include the Tijuca Forest, São Conrado beach, and surrounding cityscape. Visitors reach the launch area via the narrow and steep Estrada das Canoas, approximately 7 km from Praia do Pepino. Despite its incline, most well-maintained cars can make the journey.
