Grieving Mother Monument, Nakhodka, Primorskiy kray, Russia 

The monument of Grieving Mother contains three parts. The first and main part of the monument it is a white sculpture of the grieving mother. Behind the sculpture there is a stele.

There are memorial plates with the names of the heroes who were killed in Second World War in the center of the stele. On the left side of the stele there is an image of the red star and memorial inscription “Eternal memory”. On the right side of the stele there is a plate with memorial inscription “The monument “Grieving mother” established on 9 May 1975 in honor of the soldiers and collective farmer who were killed during the war. To soldiers of the Tchernetsky garrison and citizens of the village Leninist banner”.

In front of the monument there is the Eternal flame what looks like star. Next to the eternal flame there is a stub pole with memorial inscription, “Soviet people will never forget the sons who defended our honor, freedom and independence of the motherland. 1941-1945”.
