Grande Mosquee, Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire
The great mosque of the city is with the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, one of the architectural gems that is the pride of the political capital of Côte d’Ivoire.
Built by President Houphouet Boigny, this mosque with traditional architecture is among the most visited places of worship in the country. Indeed, few Muslim leaders and tourists who go to Yamoussoukro without addressing a prayer to Allah.
