Grande Mosquée De Ségou, Ségou, Mali
Friday’s Grand Mosque of Segou is the largest mosque in the city. Inaugurated in 2009 1 , it was funded by the World Association for Islamic Call, a Libyan organization 2 . The President of the Republic Amadou Toumani Toure officially launched the works on February 2, 2007. The building also includes a school and a cultural center. The area is 2,300 m 2 and can accommodate 3,000 faithful.
