Golf La Moraleja

It began to be played in 1975 and was officially inaugurated in 1976. Campo 1 of the Real Club La Moraleja was the first golf course in Europe designed by Nicklaus, one of the best golf players in history and one of the great designers of courses golf.

Lakes and out of bounds play a very important role in the playing strategy of each hole. In fact, only one of the 18 holes does not have an out. The course is short, narrow and very technical, with small greens, but very fast and moving.

The Pitch & Putt Course, located next to the first hole of Course 1, was built at the same time as Course 1. Its simple but demanding design was carried out by Jack Nicklaus.

One of the most outstanding features of this course is the size of its greens: conspicuously small but not very bumpy.

The Real Club La Moraleja inaugurated its croquet facilities in November 2021: a 35 x 35 meter field, capable of containing a regulation track, and two smaller ones for training.

They are located in Campo 2 and make up one of the most complete croquet infrastructures in the Community of Madrid.
