Goat Museum, Tver, Tver Oblast, Russia  

The Goat Museum took part in Tver fairs and exhibitions, but has had no permanent exposition and location.

Presently two museum halls in the Zhigarev Street house about 3.5 thousand exhibits representing the goat image in the history, culture and mythology of the world nations.

According to organizers, the exhibition will help to tell more about the meaning and connotations of the word “goat”, which can imply about 50 different phenomena and objects.

The Tver Region Emblem and Symbols Museum will be opened on the same day. The exhibition Heraldry of Great Britain will mark the 240th anniversary since the first appearance of a military goat in the history of European armed forces.
