Gergeti Trinity Church, Oni, Georgia
One of Georgia’s most iconic sights, Gergeti Trinity Church sits on a mountain top surrounded by vast stretches of rolling hills and valleys. Depending on the season, it features only a few colors, from grass and sky, to snow and rugged cliffs in the background. Hike to the church or take a taxi to this remote spot, located at an elevation of 2,170 m (7,120 ft). Breathe the crisp mountain air and listen to the sounds of pristine nature.
