Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival

The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival (Festival de montgolfières de Gatineau, or FMG) is a vibrant annual event that brings color and excitement to the Ottawa-Gatineau region. In 2025, the festival will take place from August 27 to 31 at Parc de la Baie in Gatineau, Quebec—just a short drive from downtown Ottawa

The FMG is renowned for its spectacular hot air balloon displays, featuring dozens of balloons in various shapes and colors. Balloon flights are scheduled for early morning and late afternoon, weather permitting, offering stunning views of the region.
