The station of Limoges – Bénédictins ( los Benedetins in Occitan Limousin ), conducted between 1924 and 1929 by Roger Gonthier , bears this name by reason of its building on the website of ‘ an ancient monastery Benedictine closed to the Revolution .
It is the ‘ embodiment of the prosperity of the city of arts of fire of ‘ before the crisis of the years 1930 , and has become one of the most famous examples of architecture of the arts again and Deco .
