Fuerte de San Martín, Santoña, Cantabria, Spain

It was built in the early seventeenth century but in the next two centuries underwent successive renovations that transformed the Fort of San Martin in an imposing fortress. With an area of 2,700 meters square currently has a horseshoe shape and is formed by two orders of fires acasamatados with an upper terrace where also guns and howitzers were placed.
