Fountain, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarskiy kray, Russia

The fountain “Rivers of Siberia” in Krasnoyarsk is on the central staircase leading from the Opera and Ballet Theater to the Yenisey embankment, on Bograd Street . Its opening took place in 2005, until 2008 the composition was supplemented with statues. It became the first cascade fountain in the Siberian Federal District.

This is an amazing result of the joint creative work of a group of talented people: Honored Architect of Russia AS Demirkhanov and sculptor Konstantin Zinich are the main authors of the project. Konstantin Zinich is the creator of the mighty sculpture of the father Yenisei and the beautiful Angara. Graceful girls – Tunguska (personification of Podkamennaya Tunguska and Lower Tunguska) and Khatanga – the creation of the famous sculptor Andrei Kiyanitsyn, Bazaikha and Kacha – the work of Alexei Nikcheporchuk, the author of Biryusa and Mana – Victor Mosielev.
It is interesting that the “poses” of beautiful statues posed the sculptors Krasnoyarsk girls. The authors created bronze figures with the one in whom they saw the image of a certain river, its character.

Mighty and colorful is the figure of the handsome Yenisei. Its weight is about 850 kg at a height of 3 meters. At the base of the sculpture there is a stone with various representatives of the fauna of the Krasnoyarsk Territory depicted on it. The right hand of the figure is raised in the direction of the river and holds the rook.
