Fort Gerharda – also called Fort East, is one of the forts of Swinoujscie Fortress. It is one of the best preserved 19th century Prussian coastal forts in Europe and has been the seat of the Museum of Coastal Defense in Swinoujscie since 2010 – the largest private institution in Poland, gathering more than 2000 museums related to the development of Swinoujscie Fortress over the last 300 years!
