Fontes Beach, Fortaleza, State of Ceara, Brazil
This beach is on the cost of Ceara and lined with red and white sand dune cliffs that offer a fantastic backdrop to the shoreline and ponds. The tropical fauna of Fontes Beach is naturally beautiful, and indicative of the plants and vegetation in the area.
Dune buggy rides are available here, and they’ll take you through the dunes and grottos in this area, ending at Uruau Lake, which is the largest lake in this area. Bathing in Uraua is allowed and quite refreshing in the afternoon heat!
Alternatives to the dune buggy tours include horse back riding tours or sailing tours, both of which are fun and adventurous.
