The Fontanna na Krakowskich Plantach, also known as the “Pond at the Planty,” is located on an island within Kraków’s Planty Park. Established in 1904, the fountain is an integral part of the historical landscape of the area, contributing to the overall beauty and design of the park. It has become a central feature for visitors, offering a serene atmosphere in the heart of the city.
In 2024, the fountain underwent a thorough renovation aimed at restoring its original appearance while improving its functionality. The renovation work included cleaning the surface, reinforcing the foundation, and sealing the structure. The total cost of the modernization was over 440,000 PLN. The fountain is accessible to visitors around the clock and serves as a popular gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. It does not have official social media channels or a dedicated website for updates or information.
